A Nevada woman was killed when she was rear-ended on 260th Street north of Nevada yesterday.
Nycole Henson, along with another driver, was driving with flashers on behind a horse walking on the shoulder of the road. Henson’s car was struck by Nathaniel Oberhokam of Story City, who was traveling at a higher rate of speed. In addition to Henson, seven other people were taken to either Mary Greeley or story Medical with minor injuries.
Meantime a wrong way crash on Interstate 80near Iowa city left one dead and two others injured. The vehicle driving the wrong way struck an oncoming car head on, while a third car struck debris from the initial crash. No names have released in the wake of that accident.
