Would you like to see how over nine million dollars helps protect the water supply in Marshalltown?
You’re invited to JBS Friday for an open house for its new 9-point-two million dollar Pre Treatment Waste Water Facility. General Manager Todd Carl says this is the latest state of the art improvement to the plant, which has totaled 15 million dollars in investment over the past four years.
JBS uses over 2-point-2 million gallons of water while processing over 21,000 hogs every day. General Manager Todd Carl says this state of the art facility not only helps the plan to exceed the requirements of sending all that water back into the city supply. It will also be able to help expand production down the road.
