The beginning of the next funding cycle for the Rebuild Marshalltown Fund is rapidly approaching. Julie Hitchins of the Community Foundation of Marshall County notes the deadline for a letter of intent to ask for funds is noon this Monday, July 1^st.

Hitchins’ says that match needs to be for half of the total cost of the amount requested. The minimum amount a non-profit, public school and government entity may request is 20-thousand dollars. Now if your group isn’t quite ready, ideas aren’t fully thought out yet, there will be another funding cycle for the fall, beginning on October 1^st.
