Collins-Maxwell made it back-to-back state championships, capturing the 1A state title with a 4-3 win over Clarksville at the State Softball Tourney in Fort Dodge.
Also Thursday night, Mount Ayr rallied to defeat East Marshall to take 3rd place in the 2A bracket.
