A couple of changes in the works at area Chambers of commerce;
A job posting on marshalltown.org states that the Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce is now looking for a new tourism director. Current tourism director Val Ruff’s last day with the Marshalltown Chamber is Tuesday. Ruff has accepted a position with Iowa Valley.
Meantime in Nevada, Chamber Executive Director Lynn Scarlett has resigned to pursue a new opportunity. A release from Nevada Chamber president Kathy Pettinger says Scarlett’s last day will be Friday, August 2nd. Scarlett has agreed to work part-time during the evenings while the transition to a new Executive Director is underway.
