In case you haven’t heard, this is the first weekend of August coming up…and that also means it is the back-to-school tax free weekend in stores all around the state.

No sales tax or local option sales tax will be charged this weekend on clothing and footwear that costs less than $100 per item. Retailers, by the way, are required to participate in this tax free weekend.
