You can now add the city of Nevada to the list of Main Street Iowa communities.
The Iowa Economic Development Authority announced the designation yesterday. Nevada is the 54th community in the state to receive the Main Street Iowa tag. Three new projects in Nevada announced over the past year are expected to add 250 jobs to the community.
