A Marshalltown man is in the Marshall County Jail today, accused of attempted murder.
Officers reported hearing gunshots just after 11:00 last night near 3rd Street and Madison. Police then learned of an assault and shooting near that intersection. No one was injured in the shooting, but police did get a description of the shooter, who fled the scene.
Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office located the suspect in his vehicle in the Des Moines Area. 32-year old Korki Recoh Wilbourn was transported back to Marshalltown and charged in the case.
