Moderate precipitation fell across Arkansas this past week

Ninety-seven percent of rice has been planted

with 92 percent emerged, with 64 percent of the crop rated good to excellent.

Eighty-six percent of soybeans have been planted, 75 percent emerged, and 67 percent of the crop is rated good to excellent.  Ninety-five percent of the cotton crop has emerged, 11 percent is squaring, and 79 percent of the crop is rated good to excellent

Ninety-eight percent of peanuts have been

planted and 93 percent emerged, and 88 percent of the crop is rated good to

excellent. 

Sixty-eight percent of the state’s corn crop is rated good to excellent and 10 percent of the crop is silking.
