Iowa’s corn and soybean crops continue to receive high ratings in this week’s crop progress report.

Corn condition rates 83 percent good to excellent with
soybeans right behind at 82 percent.

The first cutting of alfalfa is 79 percent complete
statewide, with hay condition rated 75 percent good to excellent. The pasture
condition rating remained at 70 percent good to excellent.
