A Chippewa Falls woman has been selected as the next Alice
in Dairyland. Julia Nunes was selected as the 73rd Alice
in Delavan, succeeding Abigail Martin.
Nunes grew up on her family’s registered Holstein dairy farm where she was busy feeding calves and enjoyed preparing dairy cattle for the county fair. During her teen years, she was heavily involved in her area Junior Holstein group and 4-H club. Nunes is a past Northern Wisconsin State Fair Fairest of the Fair.
