Crop condition ratings in South Dakota are running above
national averages.
The latest weekly report from USDA shows 81 percent of
soybeans are rated good to excellent, compared to a national average of 70 percent.
Eighty-two percent of the state’s corn acreage is good to
excellent, with the national average 10 percent below that.
The winter wheat crop is advancing a little faster than
normal with 80 percent in good to excellent condition.
