Ninety-eight percent of rice has been planted with 96 percent emerged, with 64 percent of the crop rated good to excellent.
Ninety-three percent of soybeans have been planted, 85 percent emerged, and 66 percent of the crop is rated good to excellent. Ninety-nine percent of the cotton crop has emerged, 49 percent is squaring, and 77 percent of the crop is rated good to excellent
Ninety-seven percent of the peanut crop has
emerged, 1 percent is pegging, and 92 percent of the crop is rated good to
excellent.
Sixty-eight percent of the state’s corn crop is rated good to excellent, 23 percent of the crop is silking, and 3 percent is in the dough stage.
