Michigan ag leaders are commending state lawmakers and the
governor for finalizing how more than $880 million in federal COVID-19 response
funding is spent through the CARES Act Supplemental.

Ag
leaders representing soybean, pork and dairy producers as well as ag businesses
say the measure secures $10 million in critical assistance for food processors
to continue safely operating and $5 million for farm safety grants to help
Michigan farmers and their employees stay safe on the job.
