The U.S. Trade Representative’s chief agricultural negotiator is confident ag sales to China will continue to rise.  Gregg Doud says exports to China are on an upward trajectory.  Doud tells Agri-Pulse he’s optimistic China will meet the Phase One commitment despite complications from the COVID-19 pandemic and rising doubt on Capitol Hill that it will be possible.

USDA says the U.S. has already shipped around 3.6 million tons of soybeans to China, and Chinese importers have contracted 4.4 million tons of old crop and 3 million tons of new crop soybeans.
