Another round of light direct cash cattle trade is underway in cattle country.  Live deals in the South are at $97, roughly $4 lower than last week’s weighted averages.  In Iowa, dressed deals are at $155.  In Nebraska, live deals are at $98 and dressed deals are at $155 to $156.  That’s slightly higher than the week’s earlier business.  The weighted average for Nebraska this week is $154.80, that’s almost $6 lower than last week’s weighted average of $160.48.
