The Center for Food Safety says the Bayer settlement provides some small restitution for cancer patients affected by glyphosate Roundup products.

Bill Freese, the center’s senior policy analyst, says no financial settlement “can make good the pain, suffering and lives lost to Monsanto’s cancer-causing Roundup.” 

The Center for Food Safety had filed a friend of the court

brief in the lawsuit brought by Edwin Hardeman who was one of four people with

non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma awarded a hefty sum in damages in previous court cases.
