
The USDA’s national condition ratings for corn and soybeans improved slightly over the past week.
As of Sunday, 73% of U.S. corn is in good to excellent shape, up 1% on the week, with 4% of the crop silking, compared to the five-year average of 7%.
71% of U.S. soybeans are called good to excellent, 1% higher than a week ago, with 95% of the crop emerged and 14% blooming, both faster than average.
