The USDA says more than 319 thousand farmers and ranchers
have been approved for over 4.8 billion dollars in Coronavirus Food Assistance
Program aid so far.
As of Monday, USDA says 1.2 billion is going to more than 176-thousand growers of non-specialty crops. Another 112-million-dollars is helping three thousand specialty crop growers. More than 238 thousand livestock producers are getting 2.4 billion dollars, and 17 thousand dairy producers will receive over 1-billion dollars.
