A light to moderate trade is underway across many areas. Southern live deals are marked at $95, about $1 lower than last week’s weighted averages. Northern dressed business is at $153 to $155, generally steady with this week’s business so far. Asking prices remain firm at $98 plus live and $158 dressed. Tuesday brought another round of light trade in Nebraska and Iowa with a full range of $148 to $155 dressed, but mostly at $153 to $155.
