A
northwest Illinois farmer says his corn and soybean crops are looking better
than normal.
Tom
Mueller tells Brownfield timely rains and good moisture levels have led to a
favorable growing season this far.
“The
corn and beans seem to be growing rapidly and I don’t see to many problems with
it [them] right now,” Mueller said.
Mueller
said if the weather remains fair, the timeline for this growing season could speed
up.
