Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed mixed Wednesday with markets trading in a narrow range, cash markets also saw limited activity.
July Class III milk 23 cents higher at
$23.67. August up three cents at $21.53.
September six cents lower at $19.07.
October four cents lower at $17.93.
November through January contracts three to 11 cents lower.
Dry whey unchanged at $0.2875.
Blocks up $0.0275 at $2.7375. Five trades were made at $2.7350 and $2.7375.
Barrels up $0.03 at $2.40.
Butter down $0.05 at $1.6875. Three trades were made ranging from $1.6875
to $1.71.
