Timely rains brought relief to crops in Ohio last week.
The USDA says crop condition
ratings fell slightly with 47 percent of corn and 51 percent of soybeans rated
good to excellent.
Nine percent of the corn crop is silking. Forty-eight percent of soybeans are blooming, and four percent are setting pods.
The second cutting of alfalfa hay is 69 percent complete and the second cutting of other hay is 41 percent complete.
