Minnesota crop conditions remain very good and development
is staying ahead of normal.

The latest weekly USDA report says as of Sunday, 85 percent
of corn and 83 percent of soybeans are rated good to excellent.

Corn silking reached 21 percent, two days ahead of the five-year
average.

Sixty-seven percent of soybeans are blooming, more than two
weeks ahead of last year and nine days ahead of normal.

There were some reports of crop damage in the west-central
part of the state caused by high winds and hail.
