The director of the Missouri State Fair says initially, there were concerns the closures of neighboring state fairs could cause a large number of out-of-state livestock exhibitors at Missouri’s fair.
Mark Wolfe tells Brownfield too many outside entries would have caused crowding in livestock barns, but he said that likely won’t be the case.
“A
lot of these state fairs around us are going forward with some version of their
livestock shows this summer,” he said.
