Omaha-based ethanol producer Green Plains is suing Archer Daniels Midland over alleged ethanol market manipulation.
Green Plains accuses ADM of manipulating the price of ethanol
to profit from its positions in the derivatives market. The lawsuit seeks
unspecified damages.
A similar lawsuit was filed against ADM by a Swiss commodities
trader in September 2019. That case is currently ongoing.
