Researchers at Kansas State University are working with a veterinary medicine company based in South Korea to develop a vaccine for African Swine Fever.
K-State says it’s using the technology of single-cycle adenovirus
(uh-den-oh virus) which was developed at Mayo Clinic.
The lead researcher says they believe that platform will be
the best way to deliver “a safe and effective vaccine” because it has a more robust
and persistent immune response compared to traditional vaccines.
