Governors’ Biofuels Coalition co-chair Tim Walz of Minnesota
is hopeful the silence at EPA over oil refinery “gap year” waivers indicates
the 52 petitions will be denied.
He says Administrator Wheeler has yet to respond to a Coalition letter urging EPA to toss out the requests.
“I actually think maybe that’s a good thing, maybe it’s just the eternal optimist in me. But I do think we make the case (because) the waivers were never correct.
