The USDA’s national crop condition rating for soybeans improved slightly over the past week, while corn held steady following a week of mixed weather across the U.S.
As of Sunday, 69% of U.S. corn is rated good to excellent, unchanged on the week, with 59% of the crop silking, compared to the five-year average of 54%, and 9% at the dough making stage, compared to 7% on average.
