The Federal Trade Commission has approved the acquisition of Bayer Animal Health by Elanco Animal Health.

The FTC approval is
contingent upon Elanco divesting several of its products.

Elanco has also received
antitrust clearance from the necessary countries and the European Commission.

The deal is expected to close
early next month. Bayer had to divest of its animal health division in its
acquisition of Monsanto.
