Direct cash cattle trade activity is quiet at midday – which does not come as a surprise. Bids and asking prices have yet to surface. If this week follows the recent trend, a light to moderate trade will develop just about every day. Look for activity to pick up sometime on Tuesday. Last week, Northern dressed business had a full range of $152 to $160, mostly $157 to $160. The Southern live range was $94 to $97, mostly $95.
