The Missouri Farm Bureau will have a new president next year. After ten years in that position, Blake Hurst has announced he’ll retire at the end of this term. Hurst – from Tarkio – tells Brownfield it’s time for new leadership and stepping down will give him more time at home.

Hurst – who was elected after the retirement of Charlie Kruse – says he’s leaving the organization in a good position for membership growth and financial well-being.
