I
overheard a conversation between two middle-aged gentlemen last night while I
was waiting in my designated-spot-for-social-distancing in the line at the
grocery store. One, dressed in a business suit, the other, clad in more
casual attire topped off with a seed corn cap, were discussing the politics of
COVID-19. (Oh, please, if you are offended by that statement, you are not
paying attention. I am not pointing at a specific party.)
Neither
gentleman took a firm stand in favor of a party or presidential candidate, but
from their brief discussion, it was not difficult to determine their political
leanings.
