A program that traditionally kicks off the Minnesota State

Fair will continue despite the Fair’s cancellation.

Current Princess Kay of the Milky Way, Amy Kyllo of Byron, tells Brownfield it’s important to look for opportunity amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Obviously Princess Kay does do a lot of things at the State Fair, but we’re still having butter sculpting. And we’re still going to have a coronation, etc etc.”

This year’s coronation will be private, and the butter sculpting won’t be open to the public either.
