A quiet start to the day for direct cash cattle trade following another round of light to moderate business on Wednesday. A few bids have been renewed in Nebraska at $98 live and $158 dressed. Asking prices for cattle left on showlists are at $98 plus live in the South and $159 to $160 dressed in the North. Wednesday business had deals in the North marked at mostly $158 dressed, $1 higher than last week’s weighted averages in Nebraska, live trade in that area was at mostly $98, also $1 higher.
