At the Chicago
Mercantile Exchange, live and feeder cattle futures ended the day mostly lower
on spread trade and the lack of follow-through buying after the higher start to
the session.  August live cattle closed
$.90 lower at $100.42 and October live cattle closed $1.27 lower at
$103.82.  August feeder cattle closed
$2.70 lower at $139.25 and September feeder cattle closed $3.12 lower at $139.62

A quiet start to the week for direct cash cattle trade.
