Direct cash cattle trade is quiet at midday. Bids and asking prices have yet to surface. If this week follows the trend of recent weeks, look for a light to moderate trade to develop just about every day. Last week business started on Tuesday and ran through Thursday with a little cleanup business on Friday. Northern dressed deals had a full range of $156 to $156, mostly $157 to $158. Southern live deals ranged from $93 to $97, mostly $96.
