It’s been a water-logged summer for a soybean and wheat farmer in northwestern Minnesota.

Theresia Gillie of Hallock says conditions were practically perfect in the spring.

“But then we got into June and got some excessive rain over a series of days. The young crops really struggled with being underwater.”
