The U.S. and China will spend the weekend reviewing the phase one trade agreement Saturday.
U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and the Chinese Vice Premier will be speaking by video conference about the goals of the agreement, and where each side is in achieving them.
Lighthizer’s team will want China to comply with its promise to buy 200-billion dollars more from the U.S. than it did in 2017, including 40 billion a year in agricultural products this year and next year.
