Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed lower Tuesday pressured by mostly lower cash trade and declining global markets.
August Class III milk down a penny to $19.84. September 40 cents lower at $16.00. October 25 cents lower at $16.92. November down 13 cents at $19.91. December through February contracts unchanged to five cents lower.
Dry whey down $0.0025 at $0.34. Three sales were made at $0.3375 and $0.34.
Blocks down $0.0175 at $1.7975.
Barrels down $0.06 at $1.40. One trade was made at that price.
