Direct cash cattle trade is quiet through midday.  There are a few scattered bids that have surfaced in Kansas at $106 live.  There was a light to moderate trade that took place on Tuesday, live deals ranged from $103 to $108, most deals at $106 to $107, which was $2 to $3 higher than last week’s weighted averages.  There were a handful of deals at the end of the day in the North.  Asking prices are at $107 to $108 live in the South and $175 plus, dressed in the North.
