Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange continued lower Thursday as a bearish milk production report weighs on the market, barrels the only cash market to see a positive break for the day.
August Class III milk down 24 cents at $19.60. September 49 cents lower at $15.04. October 29 cents lower at $16.35. November down 19 cents at $16.67. December through February contracts 14 to 22 cents lower.
Dry whey down $0.0025 at $0.3375. Three sales were made at $0.3375 and $0.34.
Blocks down $0.05 at $1.66. One trade was made at that price.
