Diversifying operations could help farmers recover from coronavirus-related hardships, according to Indiana State Department of Agriculture Director Bruce Kettler.

“There are other profit opportunities if we think about things a little differently and we know that in these difficult times in agriculture people are looking for that and I think that’s what we can demonstrate,” he says.

He tells Brownfield a recent agriculture tour highlighted different opportunities for farmers.

“We saw three different pieces of agriculture,” he says.
