South Dakota corn and soybeans are still in mostly good condition.
As of Sunday, soybeans were 72% good to excellent, a drop of 10 percentage points from the week before. Ninety-four percent of the bean crop was setting pods, also well ahead of average.
Corn was 74% good to excellent, down six percentage points from the week prior. Nearly 90% of the corn crop had reached the dough stage, well ahead of the average.
