Like many agricultural businesses, Beck’s has made adjustments to better serve farmers during the coronavirus pandemic.
Scott Beck is the president of the largest family-owned, retail seed company in the US.
“We do need to continue to serve farmers and we’re going to do that in the best and safest way we can,” he says. “At the same time, we know there is a need for some flexibility with our employees and their family situations to make happen what needs to happen so that the business can continue and we can continue to serve farmers as well as take care of some of the domestic needs as well.”
He tells Brownfield Practical Farm Research (PFR) continues to be critical so farmers have the information they need in challenging years.
