Landus Cooperative, which covers most of central Iowa, has released the results of its own crop yield survey.
The survey, which involved over 70 Landus employees, took place August 24th through the 26th. It produced yield estimates of 188 bushels per acre for corn and 55 bushels for soybeans.
Landus spokesman Tom Guinan says he would not be surprised if those numbers are lower come harvest because of worsening drought conditions.
