Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed mostly lower Friday ahead while cash markets quietly traded higher ahead of a long holiday weekend.
September Class III milk up 24 cents at $17.06. October seven cents lower at $18.89. November 18 cents lower at $17.55. December down 19 cents at $16.65. January through March contracts one to 15 cents lower.
Dry whey unchanged at $0.3325.
Blocks up $0.0725 at $2.1250.
Barrels up $0.0650 at $1.70. One trade was made at that price.
