Moderate to heavy rainfall throughout the state from Hurricane Laura made only 3 days suitable for field work last week.
As of Sunday, the USDA reports Arkansas corn harvest is 25% complete, 10 percentage points behind last year and 27 points behind the five-year average. Corn dented reached 99% and 85% of the crop is mature. The crop is rated 70% good to excellent.
