The USDA says wheat export inspections as of the week ending September 3rd remain ahead of the previous marketing year’s pace. The 2020/21 marketing year started June 1st for wheat and September 1st for corn, sorghum, and soybeans.

Wheat came out at 695,741 tons, up 161,606 from the week ending August 27th and 282,135 higher than the week ending September 5th, 2019. The top destinations for the week were Yemen and Vietnam. Just over a quarter into the 2020/21 marketing year, wheat inspections are 7,458,381 tons, compared to 7,012,037 in 2019/20.
