The Missouri Soybean Yield Contest entry deadline is Thursday, September 10th. The differences between this season and last will likely result in yield variations, according to Greg Luce, research director for Missouri Soybean.
“I know some folks have put some efforts into seeing what different practices this season might do to enhance the yield,” Luce told Brownfield Ag News.
Among the reasons to enter the contest is that it’s a competitive comparison of yields within specific areas of Missouri resulting in growers learning what makes soybeans yield better, said Luce.
